The Swartland Village Precinct is located in the historic heart of Malmesbury. The parcel of land was acquired by the developer in 2018 together with some of the adjacent buildings, including the well known old Swartland Hotel building and Herehuis.

 

The developers's vision is to restore the area to it's former glory, whilst preserving the heritage of this beautiful part of Malmesbury.

The redevelopment process will include the upgrade and reopening of the Swartland Hotel and the restoration of the old church and pastorie in Loedolf street, which will be used as a wedding and conference venue. The precinct will also include street retail, office space, restaurant and apartments.
